Week in Review

Written on March 24, 2006 by Rylan & Kaitlyn.

First off, Thank you to the woman who found my sandal in Costco last night. My mom made me say that. In reality, I wish she would have never found it. I really don't think I like wearing shoes just yet. Mom says I need to get used to it. Phewy!

My moms grandma came to town this week and we had fun. We went out to eat a few times and mom and dad tried to feed me for the first time at a restaurant in a big boy chair. It worked out, sorta. I became pretty irritated which turned into screaming. This made mom and dad think twice about feeding me in public. I eventually calmed down but not before the rude man next to me gave my mom bad looks. He doesn't know it but when he was 5 months old, he screamed too. Phewy on him!

Do these diapers make my butt look big? That's what I'm thinking now that I moved up to size 3 diapers. They are much more comfy now rather than the tight 2s. This is just another sign that I am becoming a big boy.

Toys, toys, toys. Boy do I love toys. I hope mom and dad keep buying them for me. They sure are fun...

That's all for now, have a good weekend.

Maybe Rylan is protesting his sandals for goodreasons.

You should get him a pair of robeez. They look so comfy!

I agree with Aly. Another popular company with baby shoes is Stride Rite

My babies all go barefoot until they are close to walking. I spent more time looking for the "lost shoe" in stores and/or putting the things back on for the millionth time. Socks or barefoot is the way to go. Spend the shoe money on those size 3 diapers instead! LOL

We definetly make sure that Rylans feet are not restricted in any ways. That is basically part of the reason why it fell off in the first place, we make sure that the sandals are loose.

In general, I would say we keep Rylan in shoes as much as the next guy. We normally keep Rylan in socks. Socks that we like to also keep loose as otherwise they leave a lovely ring around his ankle.

Do ya'll use The Children's Place socks?

Those are the only ones that I find come in nice colors and fit the best for the longest time.
My only complaint is they never have the light pink socks in stock until Valentine's Day.

I bought 2 bags of socks at Walmart once using the size chart and the first pair was way too small, so I got the bigger size which is for older kids and it was also too small.

We have an abundance of Childrens place socks. We found them on their website for a great price and picked up a whole bundle of them. They do work out nicely.

We have had good luck finding shoes and socks that fit Rylan. Only one pair did not work and those were too small at birth so they went into storage.
