Disney Pancakes.. at home.

It really is no secret. My wife and I love to go to Disneyland. The kids have each gone there since they were very young as well so they are definitely likely to become lifetime fans as well. How do you get your Disney fix when you cannot be at the park? Try having Disney pancakes and toast..
For a while now, we have had a Mickey toaster which is meant to burn Mickeys face into your toast. While it doesn't work great and only seems to show up clearly when basically burn it, the fact that it plays the Mickey Mouse theme song at the end always gets Rylan excited for breakfast.
Welcome our latest toy. The Mickey and Friends pancake maker. In fact, this makes more than just pancakes. It can make anything from cake to muffins and everything in between. It molds the pancakes into the faces of the 6 main characters. I purchased this from our local Frys grocery store and in fact, I got it for free due to a pricing issue. I walked out of the store with a huge smile. This last weekend I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised on how well they each turned out. I made over 30 of these mini pancakes and as Rylan stood by watching me, you could watch as his smile got bigger and bigger as they came out. He loves to name each of the characters as he eats them.
I ended up freezing a large portion the batch and they made great breakfasts for him. I think that this will be one of our new routines as a family and I think Rylan couldn't be happier. Kaitlyn is quickly learning to love Disney as well and is very attracted to Rylan's large Tigger toy.
